Well you can! And I'm going to tell you HOW to do this, and more. It's so EASY you simply won't believe it!

It's a relatively new and wonderful Net phenomenen, and here is how it works.
Mary builds up a business selling a service or product. She gets very good at it, and becomes highly successful.

Mary lets you market her service/product - and kindly shares with you part of her profit! Sound good? Well there's even more to come...

Get yourself a GOOD affiliate program (more in a moment) and you can make money in your sleep! How? Well all you need to do is market the program on your website via a Banner, Button or Text.

And that's it! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MORE FOR YOU TO DO!!! (and that's called working smart, not hard!)

Amazing, hey! Visitors click on the banner, button or text, and that takes them directly to Mary's "already proven successful" webpages where SHE (her website) "sells" the service or product for you (and her). When they go, your username goes along too, so when the person signs up, YOUR name goes on the order -
and so you get paid your part of the profit!

Okay, so how do you choose a good affiliate program?:

1. YOU NEED A DECENT SHARE OF THE PROFITS. I'm wary of the ones who pay less than 20% of the retail price. For example, a product is selling for $97.99 but you're offered just $10. Not good enough.

2. YOU NEED TO JOIN AN ESTABLISHED SUCCESS. When a product is featured on Television, and its success is clearly demonstrated, then I join.
Look for a product that is in the forefront of the news.Smoking Cessation has become BIG business. The cost of cigarettes is escalating.
Smokers are becoming social Parriahs. Smoking is directly related to several very serious health problems.
The Federal Government is putting millions of dollars into anti-smoking programs.
With an estimated 46 million customers, one can not help but make money.

3. WATCH OUT FOR THE SMALL PRINT. For example, you'll find Affiliate programs paying only $5 a sale. And to add further insult to injury, they don't pay until you'd amassed profit of $50, $100, or $200. I find this reprehensible- these companies are only out to further their own success and are uninterested in the success of their affiliates, forgetting that when the affiliates make money, the company makes money.
TIP: Watch out for any firm that will use small print against customers. I simply don't trust them.

4. NEEDS TO BE FREE FOR YOU. Make your own decision on this but affiliate programs that ask me to pay a monthly fee for the privilege of selling THEIR product for them, well, they just don't get my business!
A one-time investment is fine, but only a "one-time" cost if - but ONLY if - what I'm receiving is going to help me in some way. (as for 1. and 2. below). Otherwise, forget it.

3. Chris Nelson's "Checkman Program" is an excellent program and offers good reseller profits. The draw back is that after you buy the program and become a reseller, you can not unlock the program totally without making an additional purchase from Chris. Another problem is that all the disk come with information about Chris on the front of the disk. I have lost customers because of this, without his knowledge I may add, when the customer lost my address and went straight to Chris for additional services. On the positive side, Chris Nelson offers wonderful customer support to resellers.
